About
Misty Newcomb

Dr. Misty Newcomb and her husband of 25 years raised their four children on the property they lovingly refer to as the Newcomb Farm.

These days, Misty spends most of her time away from the farm working with Prism North America, where she serves as the founding Superintendent. Prism North America is a hybrid, faith-based school operating across seven campuses and in many homes throughout North America. Prism is an initiative of Congress-WBN, a unique global, faith-based organization focused on effecting human, social, and national transformation through the propagation of moral, ethical, and values-based principles, patterns, and approaches. She also supports the boys from the Bear Grease podcast and can be heard on the Bear Grease Render hosted by her husband Clay.

Misty earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences in 2008, her Masters in that same program with an emphasis on Child Development in 2016, and her PhD in Public Policy in 2023 from the University of Arkansas. She serves on numerous boards and advisory councils focused on improving educational experiences for children and families both in Arkansas and across the globe.
